Semiahmoo Potters September 2026

Semiahmoo Potter Society begins our 32nd year saying goodbye to leaving members and welcoming new ones. We began operating Crescent Park Studio in 2022, and have had many clay experiences inside the studio and the peninsula. This summer the building was transformed by muralist Jillian Munday; Please enjoy the images of CPS inside and out, transformed to a bright botanical creative ceramic space:

We look forward to a busy year, grateful for the support of our community and the cities of Surrey and White Rock. This fall we’ll be out and about “connecting communities with clay” as well as inviting visitors to Crescent Park Studio events:

October 3 & 4 the Semiahmoo peninsula Culture Crawl map has Crescent Park Studio on the hourly bus route. Between 10:00 a.m.– 4 p.m. guests are welcome to take the free shuttle bus or drive to site on 132nd Street where you can enjoy music, make a take-away craft, shop at our members’ market gallery, and try making a mini mural with artist Jillian.

Saturday, Sept. 19th find SPS potters at the Stewart Farm Harvest Fair 12 noon - 4 p.m.

Sunday, Sept. 20th construct a bird feeder class at Crescent Park Studio 10:00 a.m. - 2 p.m.
[check registration details under “CLASSES”]
- hand build a bird feeder with clay and decorative materials supplied
- cost is $50 plus PST
- suitable for adults with no or limited experience working with clay
Saturday, Sept. 26th Crescent Park Studio Open House from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Visitors can observe potters sharing skills and view new ceramic creations on the gallery shelves for purchase. *If the Crescent Park public parking lot is full, studio Visitors are welcome to park in the studio lot—the gate will be open for your convenience.
